"Roof Top Bees - Attic spaces",
"This is the underside of a newly constructed attic hive. This hive is identified as new by the color of the honey comb. The white - yellow color indicates a newly constructed wax comb. Darkened colors mean the comb is older or has been subjected to extreme heats in the summer. This hive is wavy because the weight and length warps the comb that\'s unsupported. This was inside the attic of a home.",

"Wall Space Bees",
"A typical hive has approx. 30,000 bees. To house that many bees - they build 2 honey combs in the narrow space and utilize both sides of each comb. Each honey comb is about 2 feet wide and approx 4 - 5 feet long. Here you can see where I previously cut 3 feet off the bottom of the hive. This was placed inside the portable bee boxes along with the rest of the hive which was carefully removed. This was an apartment.",

This hive had been in existance a long time because it was unreachable - Until I arrived. A small portion of this hive is currently used for elementary school displays and classroom education.",

"Bee swarming are typically non aggressive unless they have the africanized gene (aka killer bees). Hose, throwing rocks, small hand sprays can cause them to attack. If professionals use caution when around these swarms, then so should you. Keep children and small pets away from the area. Bees most typically swarm in the summer months.",
